Prof. Somnath Sachdeva Appointed Executive Chairman of Swadeshi Shodh Sansthan

Swadeshi Shodh Sansthan is pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. Somnath Sachdeva, Vice-Chancellor of Kurukshetra University, Haryana, as its newly appointed Executive Chairman. On this occasion, Prof. Sachdeva delivered a formal address on 27th December 2025 at 6:00 PM at Gyan Kunj, ITO Karyalaya. In his address, he emphasized that Swadeshi is the soul of the nation, representing dignity, self-respect, and pride. He highlighted Bharat’s progress in defense exports, underscored the relevance of Swadeshi for Vision 2047, and called for the preservation of cultural values and knowledge systems. Prof. Sachdeva outlined three key priorities for the organization: strengthening research, connecting with society,  and engaging the youth, while stressing that innovation and entrepreneurship through Shodh (research) and Navachar (innovation) will propel Bharat toward becoming a true knowledge society.
