Swadeshi Udyamita Protsahan Sammelan

As part of Shri Karan B. Shrivastava’s Gujarat visit, on 21st August 2025 we visited Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University (SSIU).

We had the opportunity to interact with Mr. Jiten Thakar (Head of Incubation) and professors from the Entrepreneurship Department. We also visited the Incubation Center where we explored various innovative startups nurtured by the university.

Later, an engaging session “Swadeshi Udyamita Protsahan Sammelan” was conducted with the management students. In his keynote, Shri Karanji shared about the vision of Swavlambi Bharat Abhiyan, emphasizing:

Buying Swadeshi products as a priority

Encouraging youth to create indigenous alternatives where no Indian substitute exists for foreign products

📌 The session also featured startup pitching, with promising ventures from Ayurveda tech and energy sectors presenting their ideas. After the pitches, Q&A and strategic guidance were provided to the startups by Shri Karanji and the team.

We received very positive feedback from the university, and both sides agreed to work on future collaborations and corrections to strengthen the startup ecosystem.
