Entrepreneurship Promotion Seminar Organized at Gujarat Polytechnic

On 15th September 2025, a special program on Entrepreneurship Promotion Seminar was organized jointly by Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan and Saviskar Gujarat at the Biomedical Department of Gujarat Polytechnic.

The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Abhay Solanki, who inspired students to actively adopt and promote the use of Swadeshi (indigenous) products. He emphasized that India can achieve self-reliance in the medical and healthcare sector by encouraging youth-led innovation and local manufacturing. He also guided students on how to start new startups and assured full cooperation and information support to aspiring entrepreneurs.

Mr. Jayantbhai Nakum, State Convener of Saviskar Gujarat, spoke about Digital Entrepreneurship, the Saviskar community initiatives, and the vision of Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan. He also shared valuable insights on startup funding opportunities and resources available for young innovators.

The seminar witnessed active participation from 78 students of the Biomedical Department, who gained practical knowledge about entrepreneurship, innovation, and startup ecosystems.

The event aimed to encourage students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and contribute to Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) by becoming job creators instead of

 job seekers.
